The Cape Breton Women’s Gallery, located in the New Dawn Centre for Social Innovation (37 Nepean Street), celebrates women from across the Island who have made meaningful and significant contributions to our families, communities, the Island, and the country.

In 2018 the gallery added Eileen Swift Cook, former General Manager at Steel Centre Credit Union (which is now our Cape Breton Credit Union Prince Street Branch). She served our credit union for 41 years and the first woman to lead a financial institution in Nova Scotia!
