What is the Rotary Rib Fest event?

The Rotary Rib Fest, the most anticipated event of the year in Cape Breton, is a celebration of our local community. Five professional ribbers will be showcasing their skills as they compete for your vote for Best Ribs, Best Sauce, and People's Choice awards. And to add to the local flavour, several of our beloved local food vendors will be on hand, offering an endless array of tasty treats. Enjoy a local brew at the beverage tent and wander through our Vendors' Village, where local businesses will be showcasing their goods and services, further strengthening our community ties.

At the Rotary Rib Fest, we've got something for everyone, including your little ones. The Kids Fun Zone is back, packed with inflatables, bounce houses, rock climbing, and more, ensuring a day of non-stop fun for your children. For fitness enthusiasts, the Rotary Ribfest Annual Fun Run is back for its 5th year, so be sure to register. Plus, what's a Cape Breton celebration without music? Our top-notch entertainment lineup, featuring both well-known and up-and-coming local artists, will keep the party going day and night on the Rotary Ribfest stage.
